St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Bell
St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Bell has a long history in Lafayette. In 1884, the bell was a part of the St. John the Evangelist Church. In the early part of the 20th century, the parishioners wanted a bell for their church, so they asked the Rev. William Teurlings if they could have their own bell. Since the St. John the Evangelist Church was under reconstruction, the bell was given to parishioners of St. Paul. After 100 years, the bell now hangs over the archway to the hall.
