Baptism is the initiation of our faith into the sacramental life of the church. It is the time when we become a Child of Christ. During a child’s Baptism, the parents take on great responsibility to be the primary source of the child’s faith formation, for the home is the place where the child lives in the presences of Christ in their midst most regularly.
Baptism is held once per month. It is generally on the third Sunday of the month. Children age 6+ will receive the sacrement of Baptism on Easter Vigil.
